WHO ARE WE?

Welcome to the Society of the Tielle! We are a group of enthusiasts who devote ourselves to the promotion and celebration of the tielle sétoise. This pie, as simple as it is extraordinarily delicious, deserves to shine well beyond the borders of Hérault.

Our mission

To introduce the world to the tielle sétoise, of course! We firmly believe that this iconic dish from the south of France should be recognized at its true value. With its authentic flavors, comforting simplicity, and fascinating history, the tielle has everything to conquer hearts (and stomachs).

Who are we?

We are a secret society (well, not so secret) composed of gourmets, chefs, cooking enthusiasts, and above all, a joyful band of southerners.

Our love for the tielle sétoise unites us and drives us to share this culinary treasure with as many people as possible.

We travel the globe, organize events, tastings, and workshops to introduce people to this gastronomic marvel. Yes, it’s a tough job, but someone has to do it!

Tielle sétoise

Why the Tielle?

Why the tielle? Because it is much more than a simple dish. It is a story of love, tradition, and passion wrapped in a golden, crispy crust. It's a recipe that brings people together, evokes childhood memories, and makes taste buds travel like a one-way ticket to the south of France. By promoting the tielle, we share a piece of Sète, a piece of the south, and a big piece of our heart (not to mention the octopus).
